I am a Professional Certified Coach (International Coaching Federation) who has been successfully coaching since 2011. My roots are in education. As I look back on 20 years in teaching and leadership, one major theme is a passion for fueling learning in myself and others. Currently, I serve as a Partner on the Global Leadership Accelerator at Teach For All, a network of 60+ organizations worldwide that recruit and develop teacher-leaders to work alongside communities to improve education and expand opportunity for children. Building from my early experiences teaching at secondary schools and universities in the U.S. and abroad, I now design and facilitate professional learning for coaches, teachers, and leaders at all levels of education systems. As co-author of The Art of Coaching Workbook (2020), I am passionate about coach education and the professionalization of coaching.
I live in the Netherlands with my husband and two children. As a family, we love exploring this beautiful country by bicycle and train, foraging in the woods, and cooking plant-based meals. I also enjoy immersing myself in a good book, in my craft supplies, or on the yoga mat.

Credentialed with the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession. PCC certification is a rigorous process including 500+ hours of documented coaching experience, 125+ hours of qualified training, mentor coaching, and performance evaluation.
2021-22: VERTICAL DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY- MATURITY COACHING INTENSIVE
Nine-month deep-dive into the stages of maturity and how to create the conditions for transformation in coaching. Includes training in Polarity Wisdom with Beena Sharma, Integral Life teacher of Polarity Wisdom. Culminates in certification as a Professional Maturity Coach
2020-21: GROWTH EDGE COACHING
Conversations at the Growing Edge: 4-month course to enable coaches to recognize and nurture developmental growth in their clients.
Expanding Client Horizons Openly: 5-month training in the Growth Edge Interview process.
Psychologically Spacious Coaching: 3-month course on using developmental coaching techniques to support client growth.
Taught by Jennifer Garvey-Berger and Carolyn Coughlin, leading experts in the application of adult development theory to the fields of coaching and leader development.
2020: BHAVANA LEARNING GROUP - CERTIFICATE FOR AUTHENTIC LISTENING
Three-month course for experienced coaches to develop the awareness and deep listening skills needed to open possibilities with clients.
2019-2020: COACHES RISING COURSES
The Power of Embodied Transformation: 5-month course on somatic coaching and trauma-informed practice with global thoughts-leaders in the field including Richard Strozzi-Heckler, Staci Haines, David Treleaven, and Amanda Blake.
Become a Transformative Presence: 6-month course with global thought-leaders in the field of coaching including Jim Dethmer, Dan Siegel, and John Prendergrast. Direct experience with and training in cultivating presence in the coaching relationship.
2019: COACHING OUT OF THE BOX
Certification Program: 9-month series including Coaching Fundamentals, 5/5/5 Coaching Skills Training, Personal Groundwork for Coaching, Advanced Coaching Skills Practicum, and individual mentor-coaching with a PCC-certified coach.
2018: CRR GLOBAL
Organizational and Relationship Systems Fundamentals: Two-month training with the founder of CRR Global on Relationship Systems Intelligence, an application of social-emotional intelligence theory to the work of coaching teams and organizations.
2013-2017: MENTORSHIP & TRAINING WITH ELENA AGUILAR
Hundreds of hours of mentorship, training, and collaboration with the author of The Art of Coaching (2013), The Art of Coaching Teams (2015),Onward: Cultivating Emotional Resilience in Educators (2018), and Coaching for Equity (2020). Co-authored with Elena The Art of Coaching Workbook (2020). Helped to launch Elena's coaching and consulting firm, Bright Morning, in 2017.
